From Filmmaker to Foodpreneur
From directing visuals behind the camera to shaping one of India's quirkiest food brands — Satyam Parkhi's journey has been anything but ordinary.
A 2017 graduate in Film Making, Animation & Game Development from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, began his journey behind the camera — directing music videos and running a video production business. But while studying and later working as a game developer in Hyderabad and Mumbai, one thing always pinched: the lack of authentic Bihari food. He recalls, "Kabhi-kabhi sirf asli litti-chokha khane ke liye 20–30 km tak travel karte the — ek bhaiya the, jo Bihar ka asli swaad banaate the." That longing sparked a vision — to give Bihari food the stage it deserves. With zero F&B background but deep branding and creative skills, Satyam launched Chicka Litti — handling design, storytelling, and team building himself.
What sets him apart? His ability to visualise and lead a brand with emotion, identity, and innovation. Chicka Litti isn't just a venture — it's his mission to make Bihar's food culture proudly mainstream.
